More than 150,000 residents of Jackson, the capital of Mississippi, were left without access to drinking water Tuesday after a water treatment pump failed due to several days of heavy rains. Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves declared a state of emergency Tuesday over the lack of drinking water, while the state's National Guard were trying to distribute bottled water to city's residents.
